Ennio RIP, Ringo # U2.

Like reptiles when first seen
With feathers in quill
Soon fledglings will dress up
In fanciful frills
Through snow cotton clouds
On a dappled white pony
White angels rejoice
Ennio Morricone
Ringo is eighty
A Starr in a dream
Some help from his friends
And peaches and cream
The Streams of Bunclody
They flow down so free
At the foot of mount Leinster
I’m longing to be
That flautist from Belfast
As smooth as a dove
Tootling James Galway
And his own Lagan Love
His tunes with the man
From the banks of the Foyle
Blessed by the Druids
For no one to spoil
Both Bono and Edge
Turned up at my party
The boys from U2
Were both hale and hearty.

Chow for now..Sláinte!
