Valentia # Victory in Auch.

Watching the whales
From cliffs on Valentia
Squadrons sing hymns
For those in absentia
Fuchsias from Scotland
Orange waves on the move
An ocean of colours
For hands to approve
Dulcetly chirping
Notes through the trees
And two hundred flaps
Some feat for a bee
Sparks from a forge
Away in the dark
Stashing of mast
And mass in the Park
Lough Gara spilling
The waters to roil
Old Woodbrook House
The Plains of Boyle
Darnes of wild Salmon
Carefully plated
Castles in moonlight
Joy adumbrated
We beat France in Auch
And that was no cinch
Two of our heroes
Were Purcell and Clinch.

Back soon…Sláinte.
