Plog …. ( Poetry blog)

Emer Holohan # Joe Burke # Joan Armatrading

Emer Holohan
Now is at rest
Herself and her hubby
Two of the best
In bucolic dreams
Where musicians work
They’re weeping today
For box man Joe Burke
Arturo Di Modica
Of the Wall Street Bull
Passes at eighty
A life never dull
If life gets you down
And things seem degrading
Run a warm bath
With Joan Armatrading
Variants still rising
We really cant tell
A barbican build
By stone citadel
Dublin was home
For Welsh David Gray
Others of note
Spandau Ballet
Discos back then
The whole place was randy
Oh faces were chewed
Slow dancing to Mandy.

Beidh mé ar ais…Sláinte.
